USPTC launches Economic Information Bureau

On 14th of June, the Economic Information Bureau begun its activity in the Euro-Centrum Industrial Park. Managed by the US-Polish Trade Council (USPTC), it will facilitate a cooperation in the area of economy, culture and science between the United States and Poland.

The partnership is an effect of dialogue between the Council, the U.S. Consulate General in Kraków, local authorities and representatives of business, culture and science. “The Upper Silesia offers a huge investment potential and I hope the Economic Information Bureau will make entering the market easier for American businesses” – said Aaron Daviet, U.S. Consul General in Kraków.

The Bureau will provide information concerning business activity in Polish and American economic conditions, tax and legal issues. It also offers a contact database of entrepreneurs and office spaces with a video-conference stand.

US-Polish Trade Council is a non-profit organization with headquarters in San Francisco and Warsaw and two regional offices in Washington D.C. and Katowice. The USPTC helps companies make the right Polish and American contacts to expand trans-Atlantic trade, investment and cooperation in the fields of information technology and biotechnology.
