Another real estate transaction took place in Katowice. The Aviva Investors fund has sold its office building Millennium Plaza.
The building has been purchased by Lone Star, a private equity firm headquartered in Dallas that invests in real estate, equity, credit and other financial assets. Since the establishment of its first fund in 1995, Lone Star has organized fifteen private equity funds with aggregate capital commitments totaling approximately USD 60 billion. The transaction amount was remained confidential.
The subjected building is located at 46 Sowińskiego St. along the A4 motorway and close to the „3 Stawy” shopping center. It is divided into three independent office segments, offering more than10 900 sq. meters of office space in total. There are 200 parking places in an underground car park and 150 free public parking spaces situated in front of the building.
Millennium Plaza was delivered in July 2001 and was the second modern office building in Katowice after the „Centrum Banku Śląskiego” office complex.
