The Mayor sees the light at the tunnel

The Mayor of Katowice, Piotr Uszok seems to be interested in a conception of the tunnel under the railway line. Uszok has given an order to prepare a cost-effectiveness report which should bring an answer if the new, redeveloped public space above the line and its value will cover the costs of the tunnel’s build. This is the first serious Mayor’s commitment into the “tunnel subject”, after a round of media articles and the Robert Konieczny statement says to prepare a project of the tunnel and the public space above.
