The biggest net zero energy solar building in Europe

The Upper Silesian Industrial Park (Górnośląski Park Przemysłowy) is going to build a first net zero energy solar building in Poland and the biggest one in Europe. This 7-storey office building will be situated in the North part of Katowice on Konduktorska Street, Wełnowiec district. Its extraordinary construction, projected with help of scientists of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice and the Cracow’s University of Technology, consists of pressure-tight walls and unopening windows. Lighting condition will be managed by computers, the same as slope angels of persiennes. Estimated investment expense - PLN 190 million.

The Upper Silesian Industrial Park was established to create an activity zone for business in Katowice supporting innovative enterprises to develop and operate theirs developments.
