Today was oficially announced an opening of the first audit Shared Service Center in Poland. The Center, created by PricewaterhouseCoopers, was presented during a conference in the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ) seat in Warsaw. The conference was attended by authorities of PwC, PAIiIZ and Katowice mayor Piotr Uszok. The SSC, which operates in Katowice since 1st of December 2009, supports PwC’s audit services among Central and Eastern Europe countries.
PricewaterhouseCoopers was announced today as the first major tenant in Ghelamco’s Katowice Business Point. A regional office of PwC will take 2 200 sq. m in a 17 000 sq. m building that is going to obtain an occupancy permit in April according to the today’s statement. At present, finishing works are completing in the building’s interiors.
PwC will occupy a one and a half storey for six years as a lease contract says.
