Silesian Philharmonic comes back to its historic seat

Silesian Philharmonic is preparing for grand opening to be held from 28th to 30th of March. More complicated and expensive than expected, the investment was concluded after 42 months of extension and redevelopment works.

New organs for Silesian Philharmonic

Soon, music lovers will have a great opportunity to enjoy new organs of the Silesian Philharmonic. The organs will be provided by renowned Karl Schuke Berliner Orgelbauwerkstaat from Germany. The company also built organs for the Berlin Philharmonic, Warsaw Philharmonic and Academy of Music in Kraków.

“Every organs have its own character and have to be adjusted to a building’s interior. The instrument for the Silesian Philharmonic was designed by Prof. Julian Gembalski.
