Property near ICC offered to sell by Orange

The real estate department of Orange put up for sale its property located north from the International Convention Center (ICC) and „Spodek”.

Orange is not only a telecommunication company but also owns a portfolio of 2 500 properties situated across Poland. The Katowice property is located at 13 Ordona St. The sale offer combines a perpetual usufruct of land covering 4 224 sq. meters and a three-storey building (plus one underground level) of 4 986 sq. meters. The building is now occupied by a post office and Orange.

The property will be sold within a negotiation procedure. The initial price amounts to PLN 10,15 million, however a limited property right will be established for part of the subjected facility – a new owner will have to allow Orange to continue functioning of a technical infrastructure, which covers about 10% of the property area. If the new owner desires to remove the infrastructure, the price is PLN 17,1 million in this instance.

According to the study of conditions and directions of spatial development of the city of Katowice, housing and service buildings as well as multifunctional facilities can be built in this area.
