Polski Koks builds its new seat

PBO Skobud, a building company from Żywiec, is erecting an office building at 41 Paderewskiego St. The investment is being conducted on behalf of Polski Koks S.A., the leading coke exporter in the world.

After the completion, the facility will be a new seat of Polski Koks. It will cover 6 200 sq. meters of usable area. The company’s home will be spread over six storeys including one located under the ground and designed as a car park.

The Archas Design studio was responsible for the architectural project of the building. The characteristic features of the facility will be a differential shape of the elevation and a spacious atrium as a central point of the interior.

The construction work was commenced in March 2011 and is scheduled for completion in October this year. Polski Koks will move to its new offices from the present location at 22 Gawronów St.

Polski Koks was founded in 1996 in Katowice. As a commercial company of JSW Group, it sells coal, coke, by-products and forwarding services.
