Neinver Poland and Meyer Bergman have signed up Peek & Cloppenburg for 3 800 sq. meters of retail space. This international fashion chain offering top clothing brands will be the key tenant of Galeria Katowicka. The store will operate at three levels of the mall, which is scheduled for completion this year.
The store of Peek & Cloppenburg will be arranged over three floors covering an area between 1 000 and 1 700 sq. meters. This will be the tenth Polish location of the international fashion brand operating successfully in 15 European countries.

Peek & Cloppenburg perfectly fits our strategy. Owing to a diverse range of brands available from Peek & Cloppenburg, Galeria Katowicka will be an appealing shopping venue for everyone, providing a comprehensive array of clothing brands” – says Agata Brzezińska, Country Manager at Neinver Poland.
Peek & Cloppenburg store will be larger than the premises of any other tenant. Overall, Galeria Katowicka is going to have 250 shops, service points, restaurants, cafes and a supermarket, as well as a parking lot for 1 200 vehicles. This is the largest investment of its type in Central and Eastern Europe. Neinver Poland and Meyer Bergman are the investors of the undertaking.

We believe this letting will help to attract further premium tenants to the project as we look forward to completing the final phase of construction during 2013.”
The agreement has been concluded thanks to the involvement of Cushman & Wakefield which is a sole agent responsible for leasing the retail space in the mall. Galeria Katowicka is now more than 80 percent leased upon the execution of this transaction.

The construction process of Galeria Katowicka, a multifunctional transportation, retail and business center, began in December 2010. Its first stage was a Railway Station’s new hall delivered in October 2012. February 2013 saw the completion of the subsequent phase – an underground bus station. The opening date of Galeria Katowicka and the underground parking lot will be announced in spring.
