A new three-star hotel has been operating since the beginning of January in the center of Katowice. Located in the interior of the City’s icon – the “Spodek” sport and exhibition hall – was named Olympia Spodek.
The hotel offers 30 rooms including 4 single rooms, 25 double rooms and one suite. The offer features two rooms for disabled guests and rooms with beds’ length up to 2,40 meters. All the rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with LCD TV-set. The WiFi Internet access is free in the hotel.
This accommodation facility is modernly arranged with a characteristic foyer roofed with glass. A recreation complex of the “Spodek” hall – an indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and a fitness club – is available for hotel guests. They are also invite to use, among others, a lobby bar, restaurant serving cuisine in the formula of “slow food & cooking show” and a music club, “The Colors of Music”. The hotel is equipped with a conference room for up to 100 participants.
Olympia Spodek is managed and owned by a Polish hotel chain, Stylehotels Sp. z o.o. The company has four hotels in the Upper Silesian cities of Chorzów, Katowice and Siemianowice Śląskie with a total number of 235 rooms.
