Number seven from Best Western

In 2009, Best Western is celebrating a round number anniversary in Poland. It has been 10 years since this worldwide hotel chain representing privately owned hotels, was launched in Poland. Today Poland has six Best Western hotels and seventh is to be opened, no later than Q1 2010, to Katowice.

Best Western Premier Katowice Hotel is currently under renovation that includes among others new floor plan arrangements and increased size of the guest rooms. After the renovation the hotel will offer 168 rooms, restaurant, bar, fitness centre and in total four conference rooms. The hotel is to be open for guests by 1st Quarter 2010. The Best Western Katowice Hotel is located 200 meters from the entry of the Katowice International Exhibition & Fair Centre, 3 kilometres from Katowice city centre and 3,5 kilometres from centre of another important city, Chorzów. The re-design of the hotel is executed by team of architects from Engineers and Advisors Co. and PRC Architekci Studio.

During Q1 2010, another two hotels are to be opened in Katowice – angelo Hotel and the second phase of Park Hotel Diament. Those three, including the Best Western building, will deliver 458 new hotel rooms to the City’s accomodation sector.
