A project of the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra (NPRSO) designed by Konior Studio was honoured at the European Commercial Property Awards 2010. The project won the Architecture Award in the Public Service category and was scored as a Five Star Winner.
The new seat of the NPRSO will be built in the area of the former coal mine “Katowice” and will be part of a new cultural district. Construction works are scheduled to commence next year.
Konior Studio received also a second award in the same category for a project of the Science and Music Education Center “Symfonia” – the extension of the Academy of Music in Katowice.
