Largest business event in Central Europe in six months

The six edition of the largest business event in Central Europe – the European Economic Congress – will be held from 7th to 9th of May 2014. During the last day of the conference, on the 9th of May, the Europe Day will be celebrated.

„The date of the next year’s edition of the congress is exceptional for many reasons. We had to take into consideration several circumstances and events which are planned in 2014 in Poland and Europe. In May, elections to the European Parliament will be held, also it will be the 10th anniversary of the largest single expansion of the European Union. Today we can say that this was the epoch-making event both for Poland and Europe” – said Wojciech Kuśpik, initiator of the EEC and chairman of PTWP Group.

Summing up of the ten years will be one of the main topics of the 3-day congress. The agenda of the sixth edition will also be related to the themes which had been discussed last years – finance, energy, coal mining and metallurgy, regional policy, infrastructure, logistics and transport, construction and real estate.

The second edition of the Africa – Europe Cooperation Forum and the European Union – China meeting are also planned during the congress.

The European Economic Congress is a three-day cycle of debates, meetings and accompanying events with the participation of some of the most important figures from the spheres of politics, business, science and economy. Around 6000 guests from Poland and abroad attend almost 100 theme-based sessions, debates and accompanying events.
