Katowice’s office rents are stable at present

Instead of the downturn in the global economy, Katowice office market and the prime office rents are stable at average level EUR 16 sq.m/mth*. The situation may be changed as the Warsaw, Kraków and Poznań rents are already fell down and the forecast is to see rents falls in other regional cities. Nevertheless, Katowice office market is still lack of modern, A-class spaces, so it is possible to sustain present prime rents. Some correction of prices can take place when the office buildings which are under construction now, will be finished at the beginning of 2010. It also depends if the new office spaces will be fully leased or not.
