Jones Lang LaSalle had the largest number of transactions conducted on the Polish market with the participation of an advisory firm. In Katowice, the firm dominated the market where over 80% of all contracts completed with an agent’s participation was conducted by JLL.
Jones Lang LaSalle has summarized office market lease transactions, conducted with its experts’ involvement, on the office market in Poland in 2013. The company finalized over 150 lease transactions totaling 206 000 sq. meters of office space.
The largest transactions in Katowice with Jones Lang LaSalle’s involvement were contracts signed by IBM (8 670 sq. meters, A4 Business Park – phase I) and ING Services Polska (5 600 sq. meters, GPP Business Park – phase II).
During 2013, almost 32% of all contracts completed with an agent’s participation in the largest office markets (excluding Warsaw) was executed by the Jones Lang LaSalle team, who maintained top position in this area for the fourth year in a row. Tenants remained the most active in Kraków, Wrocław and Katowice, according to JLL. The company registered excellent results in these three cities taking the number one position in Katowice with a record market share of 84,5% (Kraków – 36%, Wrocław – 31%).
