Katowice Airport – the new name and logo

Katowice Airport, the second polish biggest regional airport haven’t got own logotype. Until now. A competitive tender was won by the advertising agency Mamastudio from Warsaw. Three of the logo’s colours symbolize air-market segments – business flights (blue), charter flights (yellow) and low-cost flights (green). The letter “K” reminds the Airport as a place to come flying or flying off. The “K” letter vertical line is top by the small wing.
The Airport has also a new name since begging of 2009. The “Katowice Airport” is an official name of the Airport in Pyrzowice now.
