Is there the future City Center?

The City Hall of Katowice and the Polish-Spanish consortium have presented today three concept designs of the City Center in the area of the Market Square. All three schemes will be submitted to the public opinion in February. A chosen concept will be designed in details for the next year until February 2011. An estimated cost of the redevelopment is PLN 262 million but may increase to about PLN 300 million if the City Hall decides about a development of an underground road which is included in two concepts.

II concept
