Gant plots sold for PLN 3,7 million

Two plots owned by Arrada, a subsidiary of Gant Development, were sold at auction last week. Popularity of the area among investors has been proven by the number of potential buyers – there were twelve bidders willing to purchase the properties.

The plots were auctioned by a court enforcement officer to the District Court „Katowice-Wschód”. Gant Development’s assets are being sold due to the bankruptcy procedure including liquidation. At the end of April, the Warsaw Stock Exchange resolved to exclude as of 25th of May 2015 company’s shares from trading.

The two parcels of land are located north-east from the International Convention Center at the junction of Olimpijska and Ordona streets. The properties cover the area of 0,48 ha.

PLN 2 million was the starting price at the auction. The highest price among the twelve bidders was proposed by a businessman from Zabrze, Poland. He will pay PLN 3,7 million for the properties.

Also, it is planned to auction three other Gant Development’s plots, which are situated in the area of Olimpijska St.
