The City Hall of Katowice has invited four companies to file their bids in a limited tender for construction work on a new seat of the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra (NPRSO). The firms can enter the bids by 26th of October 2011.
It is the second stage of the procedure. Previously, after the City Hall had published the limited invitation late April this year, six companies responded and submitted motions in June. Then, a bid committee was evaluating the motions concerning companies’ experience, financial and technical capabilities and finally decided to invite four companies which performed tendering directions.
- To the second stage of the procedure were invited:
– Hydrobudowa Polska S.A. (leader of consortium)
– Warbud S.A. (leader of consortium)
– Mostostal Warszawa S.A. (leader of consortium)
– Polimex-Mostostal S.A.
Now the companies have to file detailed bids which include costs of construction work. The lowest price will be decisive.
An estimated cost of the construction work is PLN 201,78 million. A chosen prime contractor will have 20 months to erect the building. A total worth of the project is PLN 265 million.
