First slabs of elevation appeared

Several weeks ago a concrete structure of the Scientific Information Center and University Library was finished and the building was officially topped out. Nowadays workers are fitting hundreds of small, narrow windows and are preparing walls for elements of elevation. According to the project of architects from the HS99 studio, which are responsible for the design, the facade will be covered by slabs of red Indian sandstone. Some of the slabs are already placed on the walls at the north-west part of the building.
