One month left to commence the 1st European Congress for Small and Medium-Size Enterprises in Katowice. The event will take place between 6th and 7th of October 2011 and will become one of the main events that will take place during the all-European campaign for the development of entrepreneurship – European Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Week.
To promote the Congress, a campaign in the media was started. It includes press releases, outdoor nad Internet promotion. The patronage over the European Congress for Small and Medium-Size Enterprises 2011 has been taken over by, among others TVN CNBC and the TOK FM radio, newspapers: Puls Biznesu, Dziennik Zachodni, Echo Miasta, trade magazine Polish Market, monthly magazine Panorama Silesia and branch portals.
Information regarding the Congress can be tracked through traditional and community media – updates are published on the Congress’ Facebook website, GoldenLine and LinkedIn.
Part of the Congress will be the Internet Revolution park which will arise on Sejmu Śląskiego Square. The organizers of the action are Google, PKPP Lewiatan and home.pl. and it will be held under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy. Participants will have an opportunity to, among others: register an Internet address (domain) for free, create a web page, put a business card in the Internet maps, try out a commercial campaign in the Internet and become acquainted with knowledge about on-line presence and effective use of the Internet in one’s activity.
The event is addressed mainly to SME’s representatives, local governments and academic institutions. Organizers expect more than two thousand guests from Poland and abroad, and 20 foreign delegations. 80 Polish and foreign lecturers will attend 12 panel discussions.
