A brand of Martes Sport has joined the group of tenants of Galeria Libero. The shop will occupy an area of nearly 1 200 sq. meters.
Martes Sport has been present on the market since 1997. It owns shops offering clothes, footwear and accessories. The company is a distributor and manufacturer of brands such as: Hi-Tec, Arena, Iguana, Magnum, Colmar, Martes, Elbrus and Ice Peak. It is a distributor of Nike accessories in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Apart from the above-mentioned brands Martes Sport shops offer products of world companies offering sport clothes e.g. Adidas and Reebok.
„While developing Libero’s commercialization strategy, on top of fashion tenants and service formulas we envisaged creating a comprehensive entertainment and sports offer, which would be based on proven brands and completely unique concepts. Tenants from the sports industry, such as Martes Sport, a chain which is famous for its broad range of products and convenient prices, is very much in line with our plans. The focus on sport, recreation and entertainment will be one of key features of Libero, apart from its architectural assets and solutions which maximize a sense of comfort and friendliness” – says Marek Gładki, director of commercialization and marketing team in Echo Investment’s shopping center department.
The sports character of Galeria Libero is emphasized by contracts signed with the Fabryka Formy chain of fitness clubs. Galeria Libero also includes the “Food & Ball” sports pub – a new concept of Arkadiusz Milik, Polish footballer who plays for Ajax Amsterdam.
Advanced commercialization is in progress. Contracts have been signed with Alma Market, which is to open a shop with an area of nearly 1 900 sq. meters in Libero. Also, Media Markt is opening a shop in a completely new and better formula. Tenants also include Apteka Europejska as well as the Lancerto chain offering men’s fashion, which is present all over the country. Advanced negotiations are in progress concerning concepts related to sport, education and entertainment.
Galeria Libero is to be developed in the junction of Kościuszki and Kolejowa streets. Preparatory works are in progress at the construction site. The shopping and entertainment center is expected to be opened in March 2018.
