Instead of recession risk in US and most Western European countries, the economies of Asia and Eastern Europe has continued to grow and sustain activity on retail sector. Poland shows a very good rental growth over the year to June, which be placed at average level of 16,5%.
Among all Polish cities and its top retail locations, 3 Maja Street in Katowice reached 38,3% annual rental growth rate, which is the best result for the country. The rate is growing up steadly since the last year when it was recorded of 34,3% and the street was at list of top 10 localisations with the strongest rental growth in Europe. 3 Maja St. is also the 4th most expensive street in Poland – rent per annum is 780 €/sq.m.
