The City Hall of Katowice is organizing an open forum for investors interested in development of underground car parks in the City. The forum will take place on 7th of April 2010 in the angelo Hotel. The authorities of Katowice want to consult the investors opinion and decide together about the possibilities of investments. The car parks are to be developed by private companies which will make profits from the facilities.

Asseco grant-aided

Asseco Poland SA has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Economy for refinancing the IT Competence Center which will be located in Katowice and two other Polish cities: Kraków and Warsaw. A total amount of the project exceeds PLN 121 million including PLN 36,3 million grant from the European Regional Development Fund within the framework of the Innovative Economy Programme.

Galeria Katowicka got first tenant

The RTV Euro AGD company, a chain of household and audio-visual equipments’ stores, has signed a final agreement for the lease of retail space in Galeria Katowicka. This shopping gallery will be built at Szewczyka Sq. and is a part of the Neinver’s commercial complex planned to be developed together with the new Railway Station building. The first tenant will occupy 2 240 sq. m in the building’s -1 level. The level will make a connection between the Railway Station’s hall and the underground bus station.

PKP Cargo takes almost 6 000 sqm.

Reinhold Polska Project 4 Sp. z o.o., subsidiary of Reinhold Polska AB, concluded on 25th of March 2010 significant lease agreement of office space in Reinhold Center with the State Treasury Company PKP Cargo S.A. Total leased space under this agreement is estimated to be 5 849 sq. m. After concluding herein lease agreement total percentage of leased space in the whole building is 81 percent.

Last stage of Ligota Park is progessing

The construction works of the Ligota Park housing estate, the investment of Atal S.A., are currently focused on the last two buildings of the complex. A raw state is almost finished and workers have started with partition walls and windows montage. Ligota Park will consist of eight five-storey buildings designed by the architect Wojciech Wojciechowski. The first six buildings were delivered mid-2009. The complex is going to offer 416 apartments in total.
