“Multivilla”: villas in the City center

Nine luxury residences on six floors, one or two-storeyed, a porter, private entrances, an interweaving construction, a not commonplace design. This is what KWK Promes, the Robert Konieczny’s architectural studio proposed and named “Multivilla”. The project’s idea combines advantages of living out of town (convenience and space) and values of a city center life (proximity of culture and entertainment facilities, central localisation).

Number seven from Best Western

In 2009, Best Western is celebrating a round number anniversary in Poland. It has been 10 years since this worldwide hotel chain representing privately owned hotels, was launched in Poland. Today Poland has six Best Western hotels and seventh is to be opened, no later than Q1 2010, to Katowice.

Best Western Premier Katowice Hotel is currently under renovation that includes among others new floor plan arrangements and increased size of the guest rooms.

Capgemini opens new BPO Center in Katowice

Thanks to almost 4 000 sq. m of office space in the Atrium building, Capgemini is improving its two thousand employees Business Process Outsourcing Center to offer a wider range of BPO services and a better global customer service.

Capgemini Polska, part of a global leader in consulting, technology, outsourcing, and local professional services, has officially informed today about the opening of a new office in Poland. The new center in Katowice is localised in the Atrium building at 54 Graniczna St.

Katowice – part of the MAUS strategy

The Metropolitan Association of Upper Silesia, established in June 2007, formed by 14 cities including Katowice and inhabited by 1,9 mln citizens, adopted last month a common development strategy for the cities comprising the union. All the document’s constitutions have to be realized until 2025. The main goals of union as a whole are to include: improvement in managing the agglomeration, strengthening its economic muscle and increased competitive standing of the constituent cities of the MAUS, and also the coordination of public relations and promoting the constituent cities.
